Who is ‘WorkingWithIT’?
I wasn’t going to do one of these pages, but I feel I should as I think it’s important to know whose blog you are reading. So there is a picture below of me, of which I’m sure you can see, and have laughed at already!
So what did you do to get here?
Well I suppose the first really ‘interesting’ fact about me, is that I didn’t go to university, I just didn’t want to. I went to a public secondary school (Former Grammar school), completed my GCSE’s and completed my A-levels, passing every subject, I really just wanted to get out to work. Earn some money, and start my professional ladder.
My current job is my second, I worked in another school as my first, but that didn’t work out due to me wanting to progress my career quite quickly. Then this job came up and I snapped it up fast! It’s a lovely place to work, and I have the room to expand and increase skills easily.
I am currently studying Cisco CCNA, this will be coming to an end sometime this year (2012)
So let’s hear about you, forget work!
Well I am 21 years old, born in 1991, when I was younger I always wanted to be a mechanic, I loved cars, However after having work experience in garages, and experiencing the terrible conditions, I moved more towards ‘personal mechanics’, so I turned my ‘hands on’ tendencies to computers. And I loved it!
So why this boring blog?
Well I hope it isn’t boring, if it was, why you would you be reading it? But in a nut shell, I wanted to ‘summarise’ what my IT career entailed, obviously just the meaty chunks, also to build a sort of ‘port folio’ of work for future employment and personal reference.
Hopefully that has given you a very basic insight to who I am, and why I do what I do. As always if you have an questions or just want to get in contact please, send an email to Workingwithit.firstname.lastname@example.org
